    Throughout the Health Plus website, you'll find a number of different symbols, measures and conversion are used. This is what they all mean:

    Sugar FreeAll products displaying this symbol are free from sugar.


    Lactose FreeAll products displaying this symbol are free from lactose.


    Yeast FreeAll products displaying this symbol are free from yeast.


    Gluten FreeAll products displaying this symbol are free from gluten.


    Wheat FreeAll products displaying this symbol are free from wheat.


    Suitable for vegetariansAll products displaying this symbol are suitable for vegetarians.


    Suitable for vegans and vegetariansAll products displaying this symbol are suitable for vegetarians and vegans.


    Gelatin Free CapsuleProducts displaying this symbol are gelatin free capsules.


    Contains more than 800µg RetinolProducts displaying this symbol contain more than 800µg pre-formed vitamin A (Retinol). Do not take if pregnant, or likely to become so, except on the advice of your GP or ante-natal clinic.


    Contains polyolsProducts displaying this symbol contain polyols. Excessive consumption may produce laxative effects.


    Contains soya bean oilProducts displaying this symbol contain soya bean oil. Whilst every attempt is made to avoid genetically-modified material, our suppliers cannot guarantee that the material they supply will be 100% GM free.


    100% Vegan All products displaying this symbol are 100% suitable for vegans and are registered with the Vegan Society.

    Ingredients are measured in either grams (g), milligrams (mg), micrograms (µg or mcg) or international units (iu).

    International Units (iu) are used to provide a standard for the different potencies / activity of the various forms of vitamins A, D and E. They are calculated as follows:
