Women's Monthly Cycle

Because every woman is different, no single product can effectively relieve all symptoms in all women, but nutrition is our first line of defence as the body changes, so we must ensure a good balance of vitamins, minerals and other nutrients, including essential fatty acids (such as Omega-3), are obtained on a regular basis.

Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS or PMT) affects almost 50% of premenopausal women, with symptoms including stress, depression, irritability, tiredness and cramps. Usually these occur a week to ten days before each menstrual cycle (monthly period), and are believed to be triggered by changes in the body's progesterone and oestrogen levels.


Whilst the causes of these symptoms can sometimes be very complex, maintaining the health of your body to minimise them is actually quite simple!

We would recommend EPO or Starflower Oil for their GLA content, vitamin B6 to help hormone production and Agnus Castus to balance hormone levels, together with the other products found in this section.
